"I love the Fuego Flame Fireplace; it's so quiet! When we bought our last house, a big-name zero clearance fireplace was already installed. It had a blower with an electric motor to push the air around. Not only did the blower seem ineffective, but when the motor started to go bad it was so loud (there was a horrible scritchy, whiny sound) that I could not use the blower at all - this, of course, effectively negated any real heat output."

"Dear Mr. Phillips: In 2000 we started heating our two-story house with the Fuego Fireplace Insert you installed. It worked so well that the following year, we had the gas disconnected at the street, turned off the furnace, and converted everything else to electric!
I estimate that your insert saved us at least $2,000.00 in heating costs since then. Thanks for such a wonderful product."

Just a quick note to say thanks again for the Fuego Flame Fireplace Insert. Our gas bills have dropped 25% and I haven't had to buy wood for 2 years. Putting in 2 or 3 pieces of wood lasts 5 hours compared to the regular fireplace that took 5 pieces and lasted an hour. It's Fantastic! Thanks again. ~ Pat G.

The unexpected thing that you didn´t tell us about is the savings we have noticed on our gas bill. We were on the level payment plan for the winter of `82 and our monthly payment was $65.00 based on our prior year´s usage. As you will remember, that was also our first year for the Fuego. Well, the Gas Service Co. called in May and asked why our usage was so much less. We told them about the insert and we were told that our level payment plan for this coming winter would only be $35.00 per month!
I also hadn´t had a chance to tell you of the comments that we have gotten from friends and neighbors about the appearance of our Fuego. Everyone seems to like its simple lines - no boxy cast iron monster to detract from the beauty of the brickwork and the bookcases.

Dear Ron, I bought a fuego insert from you way back in the early 80's when we moved to Kansas City. It was everything and more that you promised. We cut our heating bills in our large older home, and we had the real coziness of a fireplace on cold winter nights in KCMO. Now I live in Denver and am wanting another Fuego. I will be asking for your guidance since I can't find a dealer out here. You will be hearing from me! ~Mike C.

Hi Jenyfer, ... I received [the Fuego Flame fireplace insert] on Friday afternoon [November 11, 2005]. Shipper brought to house. Driver had truck with liftgate and was a perfect gentleman and brought it to the side of the house by garage doors as I requested. I began installing the insert on Sunday afternoon and completed installation today. Looks Great!!!! Can't wait to fire it up tomorrow. ~Salvatore C. from Illinois

HI Jen; Well the grate finally arrived moments ago. It fits our [El Fuego] insert perfectly. It strongly resembles the original unit with minor differences that will not impact it's use; ie legs front & back. As a result of this purchase, I would like to offer your website to local dealers who have indicated that Fuego is no longer in our area. My son-in-law has had a difficult time finding grates for his El Fuego. ~ Richard P. from Maine
